As a Connection Lead, you will play a key role in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for equity-deserving students, looking to find community. You will support students through mentorship, resource sharing, and community-building activities. Connection Leads begin their community-building journey with students over orientation week and begin facilitating conversations and programming in September.

The Peer Success Coach (PSC) supports a wide variety of Student Success Office programs and services for students to enhance their academic skills and personal development.

Warriors Orientation Leaders will work alongside their Warriors O-Team to implement many of Orientation’s cross campus events.

The tutor role facilitates the Tutoring in Residence program, a collaborative initiative with Campus Housing that supports first-year courses. Tutors are upper-year or graduate students who are familiar and confident in the course content and concepts, demonstrate strong academic skills and are interested in helping students.  In Winter 2025, the courses that will be supported are CHEM 123/125 and ECON 101.   

The UNIV 101 course at the University of Waterloo, led by an Academic Development Specialist, seeks a Teaching Assistant (TA) to work closely with the instructor to collaboratively support students, grade assignments, and contribute faculty-specific examples and support as necessary.
