One of the reasons these modules are successful is our ability to tailor the content at the course level with the support of the instructor. Integrating these modules into a course requires the instructor to:
Meet with the Academic Development Specialist from the Student Success Office in order to decide which module(s) would be most appropriate for the course (30 minute meeting)
Participate in the facilitation of the selected module(s) by providing the class with relevant and meaningful examples/anecdotes, and to support the students in completing the activities (50 or 80 minute session, 30 minute prep time)
Prep time consists of reviewing the slides/activities and thinking of specific examples/anecdotes that will help your students to see connections between the teamwork module and your course project.
Meet with the Academic Development Specialist for a session debrief to provide feedback as well as plan for future offerings (30 minute meeting)
Choose relevant assignments/deliverables to compliment the module and mark/provide feedback on these pieces (optional)
If you are interested in implementing one or more of the teamwork series modules into your course, please contact Maria Barichello, Academic Development Specialist in the Student Success Office. Alternatively, your unit's Teamwork Clinic Champion will be able to provide you with more information

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
