This module introduces project plans, the concepts of interdependence and backup behaviour and team contracts to help with team motivation, team leadership and establishing a team mission and goals.
Students learn to coordinate and structure projects by developing Gantt Charts and Team Contracts. These tools help team members to monitor the performance of self and team in order to anticipate and predict the needs or desires of others on the team.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of the session students should be able to:
Provide direction on implementing processes to provide structure for the team
Work with other team members to define and clarify individual contributions
Appraise alternative solutions provided by teammates to determine the best solution
Monitor the performance of self and team in order to remain vigilant of changes in the internal and external environment of the team and identify opportunities for support
Individually seek assistance when necessary and help correct a mistake or complete a task for another member who is unable
