Event in 2023 for March of the Umbrellas

As we get ready for the University of Waterloo’s United Way Campaign launch on October 2^nd, join us Thursday, September 21^st from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in Fed Hall for the 2023 United Way Kick Off Social.

As October ushers in a time of reflection and giving, consider extending your gratitude and support to your colleagues through a meaningful gesture in support of United Way. This October, sending a “Token of Appreciation” to your co-workers not only acknowledges their contributions but also empowers a collective spirit of compassion and community.

Inspired by a recipe collection created in 1982 to celebrate the University of Waterloo’s 25^th anniversary, Library staff have pulled together their favourite recipes for an updated collection! For a suggested donation of $5 you’ll receive a digital copy of the collection. You can make your donation here, and you’ll get the pdf via email.

Join us for the United Way Faculty of Health Walk! On October 4th at 11 am, meet us at the Ring Road doors of B. C. Matthews Hall (BMH). Wear your RED!

Come out and support the Men's Hockey teamat their home opener game on October 5th at 7:00 pm at Columbia Icefield. 

Legal & Immigration Services  (LIS) is doing a silent auction! The event runs from Tuesday Oct 10^th – Friday October 20^th  but you can view the items before Tuesday.   We have some amazing items up for grabs.

Back again, come and join Bryan Dobson of Gold Leaf Botanicals for Houseplants 103 - a follow up to his educational and entertaining 2022 session. 
Bryan will be offering another virtual lunch and learn on plant care to answer your burning questions about all things houseplants.

Souper Monday!

United Way lunchtime fundraiser is back and is expected to warm everyone one up! Join us at Science Teaching Complex on October 16^th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and enjoy a delicious bowl of soup prepared by UW Catering and Event Services.
