For projects that result in an implemented Information System (IS), some type of documentation on how this system will be maintained should be prepared

Guidelines

A Maintenance plan should

• Define the support environment infrastructure
• Define the support environment roles & responsibilities, and maintenance activities
• Describe how the system will be monitored for performance and how modifications will be made
• Identify the support environment development & migration procedures
• Identify any standards that are to be followed
