It is the Course Selection Period for Spring 2025 undergraduate courses starting next week (Monday, 27 January).  Given that, Prof.Ian Rowlands wants to share information about a course that he is teaching for the first time.

ENVS 474 – Energy and Society in Ontario – is a course examining energy systems in Ontario, focusing on infrastructure, sustainability, and governance. It is a field course, with trips to energy system sites across southern Ontario. It is open to all third- and fourth-year UW students, and it will be held from 18-29 August 2025. Further details are available at https://uwaterloo.ca/environment/undergraduate/current-students/envs-474-energy-and-society

Please feel free to share with students who might be interested, with your unit’s undergraduate advisor, and/or with colleagues.  Please email Prof. Ian Rowlands for any questions (irowlands@uwaterloo.ca).
