Title:

Don't Say I Cannot: ISNAD-Africa's Contributions To Green Growth In Africa

Abstract:

Africa is too rich to be poor. Africa has been at the centre of global debate in recent years in pursuit of bridging the development gap on the continent. Indeed, there are many dimensions to the challenges of sustainable development on the continent. However, most of the challenges stem from the wide knowledge deficit, human capacity gap and weak linkages and networking of resources on the continent. These form the basis for ISNAD-Africa’s programmes and initiatives which have been contributing to green growth in more than 22 African countries since it was launched at the end of 2017. The lecture will discuss how ISNAD-Africa is leveraging a global network to contribute towards green growth in Africa. Africa is too rich to be poor, we choose to act.
