The University of Waterloo held its first-ever Worldwide Teach-In, on the 23rd & 24th of March 2022. The Worldwide Teach-in on Climate Justice recruited 1,000 schools and universities around the globe to engage 500,000 students in learning about climate change and climate justice. The Teach-in was led by the Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Energy and supported by several student partners and the Interdisciplinary Centre on Climate Change (IC3). The event was designed to have a series of panels in which climate concerned faculty from multiple disciplines each talk about climate change from their disciplinary perspective.
