Google Maps

Google Maps and Google My Maps are both supported content types in WCMS 3 and can be embedded onto content pages.

Embed options

There are two different ways to obtain the URL for the Google Map embed:

Using Google Maps

Google Maps allows you to create a simple map showing the intended location with a link to get directions on Google Maps from the embed.

Maps height in pixels

Selecting the maps height in pixels is a required field when creating a Google Maps embed. When obtaining the URL from Google Maps and Google My Maps the suggested height in pixels is given.

Using Google My Maps

Google My Maps allows you to use Google Maps to attach information to locations and create custom maps. Using Google My Maps requires you to have a Google account, but anyone can view the map if set to "Anyone can view."
