Abstract | This paper presents an efficient low-computation numerical solution of the problem of two-dimensional mm-wave scattering of EM waves by test tubes in lossy blood. This is achieved through an efficient use of the moment method along with approximate impedance boundary conditions. Both exact and approximate solutions are consistent with the results obtained using full-wave EM solvers, but with only a fraction of the computation cost. |
