Abstract

The wrapped resistively loaded bow-tie antenna (WRLBA) is proposed for UAV applications in this paper. The pulse radiating characteristics such as antenna reflection in freespace and reflected waveform from target are simulated and analyzed. The calculated fidelity factor for wrapped bow-ie antenna (WBA) and WRLBA are 0.80 and 0.88, respectively, which are suitable for sensing applications.
