About
With every new project I work on for Technovation, I strive to expand my knowledge, gain new skills, and help others; after all, every obstacle is a chance to learn something new. As I move into my fifth season—not as a participant, but as an Ambassador—I aspire to work alongside my fellow Ambassadors and inspire girls to participate in Technovation, guiding them through their projects just as my mentor did for me during late-night coding sessions.
Technovation has given me the opportunity not only to learn and grow as a programmer—allowing me to create solutions for problems I’ve seen in my community—but also to build long-lasting relationships and friendships with other girls who share the same passions. I’m excited for what’s ahead, so let’s have another great season!

About
Technovation Girls provided me with an opportunity to learn how to take my ideas and turn them into an actual project. I also learned that innovation, teamwork, and leadership are a great way to spark change.
With Technovation, I learned how to work with a team toward a project, but I also learned the incredible impact that education and technology can have on making the world a better place. To give other girls the opportunity to participate in such a compelling project, I have brought Technovation to my high school and I am working to have the program launched, as well as events. I hope to use this platform to encourage young girls to be bold when pursuing a passion that combines technology and innovation.

About
Curiosity has always been at the heart of everything I do, especially when it comes to understanding how things work and finding creative ways to improve them. Through Technovation, I discovered the incredible power of technology and teamwork to turn bold ideas into meaningful solutions. The experience taught me to think like an engineer, to lead with
purpose, and to design with empathy.
Building an app from the ground up challenged me to merge technical problem-solving with human impact, whether through coding, prototyping, or refining ideas with my testers. I found
just as much joy in mentoring others and sharing what I learned as I did in developing the project itself.
What makes this community so special is its spirit of collaboration. Seeing other girls grow in confidence, overcome obstacles, and bring their ideas to life reminds me of why I’m passionate about technology in the first place. As an ambassador, I hope to continue fostering that same curiosity and courage in others. Innovation isn’t just about creating something new; it’s about inspiring those around you to believe they can too!

About
While being a contestant in Technovation, I worked with a partner to design and prototype a mobile app aimed at educating people to help combat issues in the ecosystem. I was responsible for both the technical and visual aspects of the project, including coding the app’s core features and designing its user interface. Along the way, I developed strong app development and design skills while gaining insight into business strategy and entrepreneurship. Technovation gave me the opportunity to combine creativity, problem-solving, and technology in a meaningful way, inspiring me to keep exploring innovation and tech for good.

About
My interest in technology and creativity led me to join the Technovation program. Throughout my journey, I was fascinated by how innovation can bring people together and inspire positive change. Through my app, Check-Up, I was able to create a solution to combat long medical waiting hours. This project showed me that unique ideas can turn into real solutions that can make a difference in people’s lives. Building my app was one of the most astonishing experiences I have had because it proved to me that technology isn’t just about coding, but about imagination, teamwork, and believing that your ideas have an impact. As an influencer this season, I am excited to share my experience at Technovation, hoping to inspire other girls to see that they, too, can create something meaningful through technology and just one idea.

About
I became a Technovation Ambassador because I wanted to give back to the program that changed my life. Before Technovation, I didn’t see myself in tech. I thought coding wasn’t for someone like me. But after building my first app and realizing the impact I could make, I haven’t stopped coding since. Now, as a Computer Science student at the University of Waterloo, I know how transformative this journey can be. My goal is to help young girls see that they are worthy, capable, and full of potential. They don’t need to be experts to start. I want to help build their confidence in their skills, just as I’ve built mine, and show them that through tech and problem solving, they have the power to create real change.

About
I started my journey in Technovation, where I found out how much I love using technology to help people. With my app Safespace, I learned that teamwork, creativity, and trying new ideas can help students stay happy, confident, and motivated. Making this app made me excited to keep building and sharing cool things with Technovation !
Now, I’m trying to be an app developer. I use my skills to create fun and useful apps that spread positivity and help people grow. I love meeting new people, cheering them on to reach their goals, making things possible for them and making sure they can achieve whatever goals they have , and showing how technology can make life better. I am learning that being inspiring isn’t about how many people who listen to you, it's about helping others, one day one project at a time.

About
My curiosity and passion for solving global issues motivated me to join the Technovation program. When I first started, I often doubted myself and hesitated with every decision. I was shy with public speaking, group projects or meeting new people. Through Techovation, I gained my confidence and developed stronger collaboration skills by connecting with like-minded peers, supportive mentors, and inspiring speakers. The skills and knowledge I’ve gained from my journey continue to shape who I am today — more confident, collaborative, and determined to make a difference wherever I go.

About
Since I was young, I dreamed of making a difference in the
world. Technovation was my first opportunity to create a
solution to a real life problem. It gave me the resources I
I needed to research, code, get feedback, and share my
ideas! Furthermore, Technovation allowed me to meet girls my
age with the same passion and to improve my collaborative skills.
I decided to become a Student Ambassador this year so that I can help younger girls like me to successfully accomplish their own dreams and to help motivate them through the challenging parts of completing such a project. To me, Technovation isn’t just about coding, it’s about the impact young girls get to make on their communities and the incredible experiences they gain along the way.

About
Technovation opened up a whole new side of me I didn’t know existed. When I started building Investeens, what began as just an idea turned into something that sparked my curiosity for technology, creativity, and problem-solving! I loved the feeling of turning a concept into something real - something that could actually make a difference. That experience pushed me to explore how technology connects to so many different parts of life, from everyday challenges to the incredible engineering behind Formula 1. Becoming a Technovation Ambassador felt like the perfect way to give back. I want to help other girls find that same excitement, to believe in their ideas, take risks, and see that with each new step, their confidence and creativity can grow stronger, helping them learn they are capable of more than what they had ever imagined!

About
As a kid, I was always curious, constantly asking questions and trying to figure out how the world worked. People around me used to call a question-bank. I never used to get answers in any discussion/anywhere to my satisfaction. The first time I ever had the chance to explore those questions for myself was at the University of Waterloo Girls Hackathon, where I realized how much impact technology can have. It amazed me that with the right idea and the right tools, you can create something that truly helps people. That experience truly inspired me to join Technovation.
I participated in the 2024 to 2025 season, and it became one of the most inspiring and eye opening experiences of my life. Technovation was the place where everything finally came together. I learned how to take my ideas and turn them into something real. I explored coding with MIT App Inventor, discovered how design supports functionality, and saw how technology can transform an idea into a meaningful solution. I also realized that building an app involves much more than coding. It includes research, creativity, perseverance, storytelling, and passion.
My passion for healthcare played a key role in my project. I have always dreamed of becoming a neurosurgeon, and through Technovation I had the chance to create a solution for future medical students who often feel overwhelmed or unsure of where to start. Building this app showed me how a simple idea can grow into something that supports others and makes a difference.
While I am still exploring and fine tuning the solution to a wider audience, this journey was one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had. It challenged me, taught me new skills, and helped me grow more confident in myself. It also taught me that I am capable of making the world a better place. As an Influencer of this season, I hope to share my experience honestly so other girls know they are capable of creating something meaningful too. I want to help them feel confident in their abilities, support them through challenges, and inspire them to aim for their goals with courage and creativity.

About
When I first joined Technovation, I didn’t really know what to expect. I just knew I loved technology and wanted to create something that made a difference. What I didn’t expect was how much I’d grow in teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving along the way. I got to turn an idea into an actual app, and through that process, I discovered how exciting it is.
From brainstorming ideas to learning how to code and pitch, every step pushed me to think differently and overcome obstacles. I also loved getting to meet people and share our collective passions.
As a Student Ambassador, I want to help other girls feel that same excitement and confidence. I hope to inspire them to explore STEM and see that they can create amazing things when they believe in their ideas.

About
I was only a few years old when I would stare at the apps on my dad's phone in awe, wondering what kind of magic people used to create it. I was a few years older than that when I would dream up my very own robot inventions. A few years older than that when I first learned the rules of electricity. And then at 12, first learning of Technovation and endlessly dreaming about the different apps I could create. Fast forward to 15 years old, with three different Technovation awards under my belt, including one Grand Prize, and I'm learning more about STEM everyday, and still falling in love each new rule, fact, or theory I learn.
STEM has always been a passion of mine, but I will be honest when I say that I never felt like I could code. It always seemed like it was too hard to learn. Technovation changed all that. Technovation breaks down computer sciences into simple and clear lessons that, when put all together, allows you to put the information to use and create something. In my first season, I really surprised myself with how much I was able to learn and how much more confident I became in my coding abilities in just a few months. Not only that, but Technovation sparked my newfound passion for marketing, and gave me the space to practice my love for public speaking.
When you look at all the ways Technovation has benefited me, it's easy to see why I became a Technovation Student Ambassador this year. I want to help every single girl see that the hesitant, doubting version of themselves is already so talented and intelligent. As a Student Ambassador, I aspire to be the mentor they need to feel fully confident in themselves and help them achieve their goals.
