Attending GHC was truly an eye-opening experience as I got the opportunity to learn from some incredible women in the field about the struggles they faced and how they overcame it. I’m so grateful to have been at GHC with so many powerful women that were both working in the field and that were attending the conference itself! The experience as a whole was one that I will always remember - the opportunity to talk to so many cool companies, to get to know so many cool women and to build a strong community within the people that went from UW! Although there were some disappointing factors at the conference this year, namely the amount of non-allies at the conference, that experience in itself was one that I learned from and it was one that showed me how women support women in this field and how that's the way that we will thrive in tech.
