Thank you so much to everyone who participated in our Technovation Girls 2024 Workshop #1!
Thank you to our guests and guest speakers Lucy Wu (Brainstorming) and Camelia Nunez (Market Research) for their presentations, and to Rae Samuel, the Volunteer Engagement Manager from Technovation Global, for sharing her wealth of experience.
We would like to thank Ryan Deschamps for his great preparation of the mentor’s corner where he provided encouragement and expertise. Everyone agreed that the mentor’s corner is a great addition to our workshops.
Technovation Workshop #1 Agenda
The first Technovation Girls Waterloo workshop was the 1st hands-on experience for students The agenda included:

- MIT App Inventor - mobile app capabilities
- MIT App Inventor - AI extensions
- Brainstorming about project ideas
- Market research
As always, our goal was to spark creativity, foster critical thinking, and empower participants to tackle future challenges with confidence and enthusiasm.
