Campus Wellness provides resources for supporting students who are distressed or struggling from a mental illness.
University of Waterloo employees and their dependent family members have a range of health and wellness services under the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP).

The Office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Anti-Racism provides supports, training, and workshops to facilitate understanding, address discrimination and harm, and influence and advance systemic changes toward making the University of Waterloo an equitable and safe(r) place.

The office of Employee Health and Accommodations (EHA), which includes the Occupational Health team, is dedicated to supporting the meaningful participation and inclusion of all employees in the workplace, aligning with the University’s mission and strategic initiatives.

Occupational health nurses provide integrated occupational health and safety services to employers and employees. We work closely with managers, supervisors, human resources, and individual employees to maintain, promote and restore employee health, safety and wellbeing.

OHD offers workshops for employees on a variety of topics, from leadership and communication to planning for your retirement, and can provide customized training solutions. The OHD team will work with you to assess and address your concerns and needs.
University of Waterloo Police Officers are on duty 24 hours a day with the same enforcement powers as the regional police.
