Kunal

Kunal Gupta (BSE ’08) is the CEO of Polar, a digital media technology provider for the world’s largest publishers and agencies. Polar has clients in 20+ countries and offices in New York, Toronto, London Sydney.

Kunal lives in New York, volunteers with several mental health organizations, teaches meditation and yoga and writes about leadership, mindfulness and technology culture on his blog.

Danielle Ryan (BES ’14) is a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher and Mindset Coach based in Muskoka, ON. After spending 3 years working in corporate post-graduation, Danielle opted to ditch the status quo and pursue the path of entrepreneurship. She now owns and operates Lifestyle By Design Studio; Muskoka’s first fully mobile yoga studio curating private yoga classes, guided meditations, and coaching services for people both in person and in her online membership platform The Soul Society.

Debbie Fung (BES ’06) and Jason Lu (BSc ’05) are Founders and Owners of Yoga Tree. They launched Yoga Tree Studios in Thornhill in 2007, and have grown it into a thriving business with 5 locations soon to be 6. They have won the growth 500, a ranking of Canada’s fastest-growing companies by Canadian business and profit magazine for the last 3 consecutive years! Debbie, responsible for Marketing, Admin and accounting, has been recognized as one of "Canada’s top 100 female entrepreneurs" in profit's annual w100 list. She was also the recipient for 2016 Canada’s next top entrepreneur award. She has been active in the Toronto community promoting startups and female entrepreneurship. Jason has developed a specialized training for aspiring Yoga instructors which he personally trains himself! He is known for his ability to push students to reach their fullest potential.
