Toronto Alumni Theatre Event with Studio 180

Thursday, November 15, 2012 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm EST (GMT -05:00)

Join us for a Studio 180 production of ‘The Normal Heart’ at the Buddies in Bad Times Theatre.

Fun Fact:  Studio 180 is a theatre group that originated at uWaterloo, and is named after a room number in Hagey Hall where they first began collaborating.

In honour of the group’s 10th anniversary, uWaterloo alumni are invited to experience this nationally acclaimed performance.

The play recounts the rise of the AIDS crisis in New York City as seen through the perspective of writer and activist Ned Weeks. The result is a powerful performance that recognizes a significant time in the AIDS health crisis.

7:30 to 7:40pm - Pre-show introduction with Joel Greenberg in lobby

8:00pm - Performance begins

Tickets are $20 per person, which includes an exclusive post-performance discussion with the cast.

PLEASE NOTE: Only registered guests will be admitted into the theatre. Tickets will not be provided, registered guests will be asked to sign-in upon arrival at the theatre.

Metered street parking is available around the theatre. As well, there is a public parking lot on Wellesley (immediately east of Yonge Street and across the street from Wellesley subway station). We strongly suggest you arrive with sufficient time to find parking, as late-comers will not be admitted into the theatre.
