The University of Waterloo hosted an inspiring evening with University of Waterloo alumnus Tom Chau (PhD '98) — recipient of the prestigious Globe & Mail "Transformational Canadian" distinction.
Tom, in his role as Senior Scientist and Canada Research Chair in pediatric rehabilitation and engineering at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, has changed the lives of thousands of children and their families. His research focuses on giving children who are non-verbal and have limited motor control the power to communicate.
