Jamie Tremaine (BASc '06, Mechanical Engineering) and Greg Brigley (BASc '03, Computer Engineering) helped design a system that uses a Microsoft Xbox Kinect to allow surgeons to scroll through medical images during operations with gestures - effectively eliminating the need to move to a non-sterile environment to use a computer mouse or keyboard to do so.
