Saving Arm Pit

Natalie Hyde's (BA '87, German) debut novel for children, Saving Arm Pit, is a feel-good story focused on the benefits of people working together for positive community goals (she has written more than a dozen non-fiction books for children). Occasionally, Hyde drops hints of Waterloo Region into the story, using similar-sounding names for some familiar local locations.
