David
graduated
from
the
University
of
Waterloo
in
1986
with
a
Bachelor
of
Mathematics,
having
completed
a
major
in
actuarial
science
and
a
minor
in
economics.
He
is
currently
a
principal
and
senior
consulting
actuary
with
Mercer,
a
global
leader
in
HR
and
related
financial
advice,
products,
and
services.
He
provides
strategic
consulting
and
advice
to
a
number
of
multinational
clients
on
the
cost
and
effectiveness
of
their
pension
and
benefit
programs.
Prior
to
returning
to
Toronto
in
2012,
he
was
in
Mercer's
International
Consulting
Group
in
London,
UK.
Prior
to
joining
Mercer,
he
was
a
co-founder
and
partner
of
Cypress
Knowledge,
a
management
consulting
and
advisory
firm
in
Menlo
Park,
California.
When
asked
what
motivated
him
to
reconnect
with
UWaterloo
David
said,
"There
are
many
great
and
exciting
new
things
going
on
at
UW
and
I
want
to
stay
plugged
in
and
connected
to
those
changes
and
to
help
facilitate
them
wherever
I
can."
