Login help
Alumni now use their University of Waterloo Identity and Access Management (WatIAM) credentials to login and register for the Black and Gold Alumni Pass.
If you are having issues with your login, please review the options below.
To activate your WatIAM account:
If you convocated in 2000 or earlier, you would not have had a WatIAM account as a student, so you need to set up your account. You only need to set up (activate) your account once.
Activate your WatIAM account. Enter the information requested and follow the steps to obtain your WatIAM user ID and password. Once your account is activated, you can log in to the Waterloo Warriors Tickets website. For those who have changed their last names since convocation, you will need to enter your former last name (the one you had as a student) in the "Last Name" field.
If you have forgotten your student number, request a reminder.

Can’t remember your WatIAM user ID and password?
- To retrieve your WatIAM userid: use the WatIAM “Forgot User ID?” option. (This will send a reminder of your user ID to the email address on your WatIAM account.) For those who have changed their last names since convocation, you will need to enter your former last name (the one you had as a student) in the “Last Name” field.
- To retrieve your WatIAM password: use the “Forgot password?” option on the WatIAM Login Page. (You’ll need to enter your userid in the “User ID” field before clicking on “Forgot Password?”.). Some of you may need to upgrade the security on your account by answering security questions before your password can be changed. In this case please call the IST Service Desk at (519) 888-4567 ext. 33538.

Locked out of your WatIAM account?
If you have been locked out of your WatIAM account, please contact the IST Service Desk for assistance - include your full name, student number and WatIAM userid. Be prepared to answer a variety of questions to confirm your identity and you will need to set up two-factor authentication if you haven't already done so.
