Chandra Madhuranthakam

Chemical Engineering, Adjunct Adjunct Associate Professor

Biography

Chandra Mouli R. Madhuranthakam is a Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo, as well as a Professional Engineer in Ontario. In the winter of 2013, he taught the final class of Chemical Engineering students at the UWaterloo campus in the United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Madhuranthakam’s research interests involve understanding static mixer and microreactor technology, as well as polymer reaction engineering and polymer processing. Process modelling, optimization, integration and control; waste minimization and green engineering are also topics that he is interested in researching. Dr. Madhuranthakam’s research has led to several publications on the topics he has studied, such as articles on static mixers, hydrodynamic studies, waste reduction for chemical plant operations, and process control systems.
