Andrew Doxey Receives Thermo Fisher Scientific Award

the CSM conference
in
Winnipeg,
WCMR
member Andrew
Doxey will
give
his
lecture
after
receiving
the
Thermo
Fisher
Scientific
Award.
This
award
is
given
to
stimulate
and
recognize
new
researchers
in
microbiological
sciences.
Andrew Doxey has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Waterloo since 2013 where he works on genomic data mining, unexplored molecular diversity, and protein function discovery. Andew Doxey's work has merged his interests in protein biochemistry and computational genomics such as in his recent collaboration to identify a new type of the Botox protein.
