A message from Professor and Associate Dean of Science, Bernard Duncker:
Nominations
are
now
being
accepted
for
fall
term
Biomedical
Discussion
Group
speakers,
so
if
you
have
someone
you'd
like
to
invite,
or
if
you
(or
a
member
of
your
group)
is
interested
in
giving
a
talk,
please
let
me
know.
As
was
the
case
last
year,
the
seminars
will
be
held
Thursdays
from
2:30
-
3:30
pm.
Starting this year, the Biomed talks will run as part of a seminar series hosted by the Centre for Bioengineering and Biotechnology (CBB, bioeng.uwaterloo.ca). While many of you are part of CBB, I'd like to stress that everyone including all current and future Biomed Discussion Group members, are welcome to nominate speakers and attend these talks. All talk announcements will be sent out to the complete Biomed list, and anyone who wants to be added should feel free to contact me. In short, the Biomed talks should run much as they have in the past, but will benefit from the organizational resources of CBB.
Looking forward to another year of great talks and discussions.
