Canada Research Chairs announced

Leading-edge research with the potential to improve human health has earned national recognition for Dr. Frank Gu and Dr. Ken Stark, both members of the Centre for Bioengineering and Biotechnology. Dr. Gu is a professor in chemical engineering, while Dr. Stark is based in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences.

There are 2,000 Canada Research Chairs at institutions across the country, including 60 at the University of Waterloo. The recent Canada Research Chair grants were announced at the University of Toronto on Friday, Oct. 12, along with two other Waterloo faculty members.
