Colin Russell
Manager, Program Development and Partnerships
The CBB is happy to announce the hiring of our new manager of program development and partnerships, Colin Russell!
Colin earned his BSc at the University of Toronto in Pharmacology and MSc at Brock University in Applied Health Sciences. Colin brings a variety of research and project management experience from both academic and industry perspectives. As an Innovation Research Officer at Brock University he supported industry partnerships and IP development in diverse areas of research (Green Chemistry, Theranostics, Pharmaceutical Synthesis, etc…). Later he managed international clinical and health research projects at St. Michael’s Hospital, Hamilton Health Sciences’ Population Health Research Institute, and most recently at Bayer Inc.
Colin will be responsible for the successful development and delivery of a wide variety of multi-disciplinary research programs and projects designed to support CBB faculty members and to advance the Centre to be recognized internationally as a centre of excellence in the area of biomedical engineering and biotechnology research.
We wish him great success in this role and look forward to growing alongside him during his time with the Centre.
