CBB members among six Waterloo researchers elected as Royal Society of Canada Felllows 2022

Congratulations to the newly elected Fellows of the Royal Society of Canada — Fellows that include our very own CBB members:

Anita Layton | Faculty of Mathematics

Richard Hughson | Faculty of Health

Five new Fellows and one new College Member are among 156 other Canadian researchers elected by their peers for outstanding scholarly, scientific, and artistic achievement announced by the RSC. Recognition by the RSC for career achievement is the highest honour an individual can achieve in the Arts, Social Sciences and Sciences. RSC President Jeremy McNeil says,

"The Royal Society of Canada is delighted to welcome this outstanding cohort of artists, scholars and scientists. These individuals are recognised for their exceptional contributions to their respective disciplines and are a real credit to Canada”
