Waterloo Engineering hosted their annual awards celebration on October 4, 2012, and members of the Centre for Bioengineering and Biotechnology were recipients.
Peter Huck, of civil and environmental engineering, received the En-hui Yang Engineering Research Innovation Award, an award that recognizes an outstanding researcher within Waterloo Engineering.
David A. Clausi and Alexander Wong, both of systems design engineering, received Engineering Research Excellence Awards. These awards recognize outstanding research accomplishment, innovative ideas and dedication to the Faculty’s research.
Early Researcher Awards went to Alex Wong and Boxin Zhao. Plus, Canada Research Chair, Carolyn Ren, was recognized for her research and contribution to the university community, and Maud Gorbet received the Women of Waterloo award. [Daily Bulletin article]
