University Research Chair Announcement 2022

University of Waterloo recognizes exceptional achievement and pre-eminence in a particular field of knowledge through the designation 'University Research Chair'.

Congratulations to CBB Members: Evelyn Yim, Ben Thompson, and Monica Maly who have been named as part of the University of Waterloo Research Chairs of 2022.

University Research Chairs are Canada Research Chair eligible faculty members who are nominated by their respective Faculty Deans. A faculty member with the University Research Chair title receives either an annual stipend of $10,000 or a teaching reduction of one course per year.
