Delegating for Dynamic Results

About this course

After giving your employees certain tasks, have you found yourself disappointed by their performance? As a supervisor you might find such situations daunting. Your misplaced trust in an employee can feel like a betrayal—even though their underperformance wasn’t intentional. You may find yourself questioning your own judgment: How can you better assess workers before you assign them tasks? Better yet, is there a way that you can give them work, and guarantee that they’ll perform well/decently?

Intended for team leaders, first-line supervisors, and managers who have had experience delegating assignments or responsibilities, you will learn about the process of delegating. By assessing your attitudes and current practices as a delegator, and through experiential activities, you will explore effective delegation techniques and how to motivate and continuously develop staff.
