Managing and Configuring SharePoint Sites

About this course

As a SharePoint site manager, you control who can and cannot see your SharePoint site, and the items within your SharePoint site. Most often we use the default SharePoint groups: Owners, Members, and Visitors. Generally, those default groups work well for most sites.

This course will provide a broad overview of the features and settings you can add to your SharePoint site, along with some considerations for site flow and navigation. It will also focus on managing SharePoint Groups and permission levels when you need to restrict access to content. A SharePoint site can contain specific lists, libraries, folders, etc., containing sensitive data that may require extra security.

Pre-requisite: This course is designed for SharePoint users who have FULL CONTROL permissions on a SharePoint site as a Site Administrator or a SharePoint Site Owner.

In order to enrol in this course, you must register through Workday.
