About this course
Do you find note-taking in class to be difficult, boring, or perhaps you don't get anything out of your notes at all? Knowing effective strategies to organize the information presented in lectures and textbooks can help to improve your concentration, increase your ability to recall information, and save you time in the long run.
In this workshop, you’ll explore several note-taking strategies, identify your own note-taking style, learn about the role of effective listening, and practice taking great notes with your own material. Please bring notes you have taken in one of your courses to this workshop.
