Monday - Friday
7:30am - 4:00pm
Central Stores will be offering a one-month (M-F) departmental e-waste and surplus pickup initiative starting Monday April 17th and ending Friday May 19th, 2017. Working with administration, departments with selected university owned e-waste and surplus should email Sean Kimpinski at csss@uwaterloo.ca . Sean will add your request to the pickup list. In the email please list the items being picked up and the locations, so that a pickup date and time can be scheduled.
This one month initiative will allow your department the opportunity to clear out e-waste “for disposal” and other items “for surplus/disposal” without the normal paperwork requirements. Any items deemed to be of high value, will be separated and a request for an “Asset Disposal Form” will be issued.
Central Stores has allocated staff specifically to handle this one-month event starting Monday April 17th, 2017.
Please take advantage of this event and seize the opportunity to rid your department of space consuming electronic waste and other surplus items.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
