We are pleased to present the “K-W German Walk”, a mobile application that will take you on a journey on the trail of German-Canadian history in the region of the twin cities Kitchener-Waterloo, more popularly known as K-W.
Since the days are getting warmer and spring is just around the corner, it is the perfect time to take a German Walk through K-W and discover the region’s broad German-Canadian heritage! The app features several German-related places in the K-W region, the region with the strongest German heritage in Ontario.
The K-W German Walk is result of the cooperation between the Waterloo Centre for German Studies and the German Consulate Toronto.
