Application/Nomination process type: Students nominated by department/faculty

Application/Nomination process description: Faculty members of the Waterloo Centre for German Studies will nominate students annually in January and inform them of the nomination. Students are required to submit a one-page research project proposal and CV to the Centre for adjudication. The submissions will be adjudicated based on the merit of the proposal and its contribution to the mandate of the Centre as well as the student’s record of graduate study and research. Students who have received the award in previous years may be nominated again.
