Application/Nomination process description: Eligible students can apply by submitting a CV and a one-page research project proposal. Applicants must also arrange for a letter of support from a UW faculty member. The Application and letter of support are to be sent to wcgs@uwaterloo.ca by January 31. The submissions will be adjudicated based on the merit of the proposal and its contribution to the mandate of the Centre as well as the student’s record of graduate study and research. Students who have received the award in previous years may apply again.
