Study Title: Immigration and Ethnic Identity in Post-WWII Canada: A Comparative Case Study of German Newcomers to Northern and Southern Ontario
Researcher: Chelsea Clingen, PhD Student in Human Studies and Interdisciplinarity, Laurentian University
Brief Description: This study will reveal how German Canadians formed new ethnic identities after World War II in Southern and Northern Ontario communities such as Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Timmins, Kitchener-Waterloo, and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). A 1 to 2 hour phone interview will be conducted with participants using a pre-determined set of questions.
