Please provide details on: how knowledge of German language and culture will assist you in realizing your career and professional goals. These awards are made possible by generous donations (Stork family; Marga I. Weigel; Cecilia Piller). We want the donors to learn about the impact these awards have. Therefore, award winners are required to provide a "thank-you letter" to their award's respective donors. By clicking yes you agree to provide this letter to the Waterloo Centre for German studies no later than one month after returning from Germany. PILLER AWARDS: upon receipt of the award winners are required by Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs to write a "thank-you letter" detailing how this award will support your research. This letter is to be sent to wcgs@uwaterloo.ca and will be forwarded to the Graduate Studies Awards office.
