The webinar Ergonomics and the changing workforce took place on October 30, 2014 and looked at recent changes in worker demographics and characteristics that affect the workplace and how ergonomics principles can be used to address these issues to increase worker safety and productivity. Topics included the aging workforce, a new application of the Revised NIOSH Lifting Equation to accommodate pregnant workers, and current workplace programs to consider the attributes and abilities of individual workers.
