RSI Awareness Day is February 29, 2016

Friday, February 12, 2016

Repetitive strain injuries (RSI), also know as musculosketal disorders (MSD) are terms used to describe a number of painful and disabling injuries that affect the muscles, nerves and tendons.

RSI Awareness Day is an annual event that was established on February 29th, 2000. That day was selected because it is the only non-repetitive day of the year. The day is recognized on the 28th in non-leap years. In recognition of RSI Awareness Day, a number of organizations sponsor and participate in events and training sessions to help raise awareness about RSI prevention.
