Dr. Ryan B. Graham is an associate professor and University Research Chair at the University of Ottawa who is cross-appointed to the Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Biomedical Engineering (OCIBME). He also holds adjunct assistant professorships at both Queen’s University and the University of Waterloo. In 2012, he completed his doctorate at Queen’s under the supervision of Dr. Joan Stevenson with his thesis entitled “Assessing dynamic spine stability using maximum finite-time Lyapunov exponents.” Professor Graham has published over 70 peer-reviewed manuscripts and 100 refereed conference proceedings, and his research has garnered him a number of awards, including: the David Winter Promising Young Investigator Award from the Canadian Society for Biomechanics (2018); the Ontario Early Researcher Award (2018); and the University of Ottawa Faculty of Health Sciences Dean’s Award for Excellence in Research (2019).
