After earning his PhD in kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, Tyson Beach was an assistant professor and knowledge broker in the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education. He now teaches in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. He is generally interested in the science and practice of kinesiology, but primarily focuses on:
- qualitative & quantitative movement analyses & assessments;
- biomechanics of movement coordination, control & musculoskeletal injury; and
- physical exercise & movement training interventions for health & performance.
