Silver: Mexico is the second largest producer of silver in the World. Many towns, like Taxco, are very famous for their silver jewellery and around 1950s Mexican coins were mainly produced with silver. Now only very special coins are made with silver. Here we want to use both peninsulas, Baja California and Yucatan, to represent the letters of the symbol Ag and the dots and lines represent the number 47 in Mayan numerical system. This design is the idea of a group of students and teachers from Facultad de Química, UNAM coordinated by Victor Trujillo and Carlos M Castro-Acuña.
