Title: New spectral bounds on the chromatic number

Speaker: Sina Rezazadeh

Abstract:

In this talk, we will introduce the Fourier matrices and
give an overview of the work done by P. Wocjan and C. Elphick about
their application to achieve some lower bounds for the chromatic
number of a graph, which improve the known Hoffmann lower bound.
Unlike the Hoffman bound, these new bounds involve all the eigenvalues
of the graph.
