Abstract:
Cones,
polytopes
and
ellipsoids
are
all
objects
of
interest
in
optimization.
In
this
talk,
I
will
discuss
some
of
their
interesting
relations
and
a
theorem
on
minimum
volume
ellipsoid
for
sets
in
Euclidean
space.
The
presentation
will
be
based
on
the
