Title: An introduction to gammoids

Abstract:

A gammoid is a matroid that is defined via vertex connectivity in a graph. I will discuss various nice properties of the class of gammoids and show a result of Kratsch and Wahlström that we can decide whether or not a given matroid is a gammoid.
