Title: Some prime indexed graph invariants inspired by Feynman integrals

Abstract:
To better understand Feynman integrals we can think about the Feynman diagrams which index these integrals as graphs and see what a graph theoretic approach can say about the integrals. One particular thing we can do is look for graph invariants which have the same behaviour as the Feynman integrals under important graph operations. I will discuss two such invariants, both of which are defined for each prime p>2 and so have an arithmetic flavour.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Indigenous Initiatives Office.
