Abbas Mehrabian awarded a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship

Abbas MehrabianAbbas Mehrabian, a PhD student in the Combinatorics and Optimization department, has been awarded a 2013 Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship. This is a prestigious three-year doctoral scholarship valued at $50,000/year. Abbas is being co-supervised by Professors Nick Wormald and Joseph Cheriyan. The title of Abbas's research proposal was "The Query Complexity of Graph Property Testers in the Dense Graph Model".
