Together with Ruta Mehta (UICU), Heiko Röglin (Bonn), and Berhnard von Stengel (LSE), C&O facuty member Jochen Könemann is co-organizing a workshop on Algorithmic and Computational Game Theory (December 14-17, 2015). The workshop will bring together key experts to present and discuss recent developments in the field.
The workshop brings to an end the Trimester Program on Combinatorial Optimization at the Hausdorff Research Institute for Mathematics (September 1 - December 18, 2015). The trimester program was organized by Andras Frank, Satoru Iwata, Jochen Könemann, and Jens Vygen, and featured a summer school on combinatorial optimization and week-long workshops on Connectivity, Routing, Nework Design, Rigidity, Submodularity, Discrete Convexity, Relaxations and Polyhedral Methods, and Algorithmic and Computational Game Theory.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
