Jochen Koenemann begins a three-year term as C&O department chair

On September 1, 2016, Professor Jochen Koenemann began a three-year term as chair of the Combinatorics and Optimization (C&O) department. Jochen succeeds Professor Chris Godsil in this role.

Jochen joined the C&O department in 2004 after completing his PhD at Carnegie Mellon University and a postdoctoral fellowship at Sapienza - Università di Roma. His research interests are in approximation algorithms, algorithmic game theory, and combinatorial optimization.
